Cary Cares

Cary Cares give grants to help relieve financial and emotional strain.  We support individuals, families and organisations residing within the Castle Cary and Ansford area.

Examples of help we have given in recent times include:

​

• The purchase of a cooker for  a family who did not have the means to replace their broken one.

• The purchase of car seats for a family whose previous seats had been damaged in an accident.

• Funding to assist a local Baby and Toddler group purchase some much needed replacement toys.
   

 We are here to help and if you are in need we would love to hear from you. 
 

How to apply

Using the guidance notes provided, please fill out the appropriate grant  application form below and submit it to us.  If you’d like further assistance with completing the application, please either phone or email us and we will get in touch with you. What happens next

The Trustees consider all grant applications as they are received.  If the need is urgent we are usually able to make a decision withing a few days, otherwise, the decision will be made at our monthly trustees meeting.  We will let you know if you have been successful within a week of the decision being made and agree arrangements with you to transfer funds.

Once a grant has been made, we will ask you to send us a progress report to update us with how you have used the funds and the benefit that has resulted.
